Following in my family’s footsteps, I embraced the legacy of our business with a passion for serving our community and making a lasting positive impact.
Growing up in Bay Shore, Long Island, I've always been deeply connected to the community. It's where my roots are, where I went to high school, and where my family has built a legacy. My grandfather started our real estate company back in 1972, and over the years, it's become the most successful independent boutique brokerage on Long Island. When my father took over in 2004, after my grandfather passed, he and my mother worked tirelessly to expand and solidify our presence, especially on the South Shore.
For me, joining the family business felt like a natural step. I had the opportunity to study finance and real estate at the University of South Carolina, and although I considered staying down south, the pull to return home was too strong. Coming back to Bay Shore and stepping into the family business was probably the most pivotal decision of my life. Working alongside my parents, who have nearly 60 years of combined experience, was an invaluable opportunity to learn and grow from the very best. Their mentorship has guided me through the complexities of real estate, helping me to navigate the challenges that come with the industry.
The first couple of years were eye-opening, especially when COVID-19 hit. It felt like the world came to a standstill just as I was finding my footing. But I persevered, learning to adapt and find new ways to connect with clients and serve the community even during uncertain times. The experience taught me resilience and the importance of flexibility in an industry that can be unpredictable.
By the time my third year rolled around, it felt like I was starting fresh, but this time with a stronger foundation. The challenges of the previous years had equipped me with a deeper understanding of the market and a renewed sense of purpose. I’m here not just to help people through the good times, but also through the difficult ones. There's a lot of satisfaction in guiding someone through such significant decisions, and I feel a responsibility to ensure they are making the most informed choices possible to avoid pitfalls and create the best outcome!
Outside of the office, my ties to the community are just as strong. I've been a volunteer firefighter for Bay Shore, and that role has only deepened my commitment to the place I call home. I also volunteer as an Assistant Coach for the Bay Shore High School Tennis Team, the same school I went to growing up. I love where I live, and I’m not just invested in the properties—I’m invested in the people and the well-being of our town. I take pride in serving this community.
Outside of work, I love being active, whether it’s golf, tennis, and everything that Long Island has to offer—I believe in maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle. My fiancée, Scarlett, shares this love for our community. She’s also from Bay Shore, and we’ve built our life here together. We got engaged in October 2023, and while she’s primarily an event planner for Citibank, I also brought her into real estate.
Looking ahead, I’m motivated by the legacy my family has built. My goal is to continue growing our business, expanding it throughout Long Island, but always with the same level of professionalism and quality service that has become our hallmark. I want to set the stage for the next generation, just as my parents and grandfather did for me.
In many ways, the work we do is about more than just buying and selling homes—it’s about ensuring that others can enjoy the same sense of belonging and community that my family and I have cherished for so many years here.
